Task Two: Know Your Zombies
In Ali S. Khan's, fiction passage entitled, Preparedness 101:Zombie Apocalypse, she suggest that we should be ready for the zombie apocalypse. Khan states that "to get through the first couple of days before you can locate a zombie-free refugee camp". She also suggest to make an emergency kit supplied with: food, water, medication, tools, sanitation, clothing, and important documents. Khan States, "When zombies are hungry they wont stop until they get food". Khan suggest to have an emergency plan. An example is to have a place where you can meet up with family members and friends and an evacuation route. Khan states that," If zombies did start roaming the streets, CDC would conduct an investigation much like any other disease outbreak". Khan Informs that the CDC ( Control Disease Center) will be prepared to assist. CDC is willing to give technical assistance and breaking the cycle of transmission of the disease. Khan's purpose is to give advice on what we should do and to inform us that the CDC is also here to assist with the zombie apocalypse.
